Three Man City Premier League fixtures changed after TV selections confirmed

Manchester City's scheduled clashes with Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and West Ham United have all been moved after being selected for television coverage.

Firstly, City will welcome Eddie Howe's Newcastle side in a huge clash on Saturday, March 4. While the date remains the same, the fixture will kick off at the earlier time of 12:30pm and will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

The week after, City will make the trip to Selhurst Park to face Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace. That match will also be played on the same date (Saturday, March 11), however, kick-off will be at 5:30pm so it can be broadcast on Sky Sports.

Finally, City will welcome David Moyes' West Ham on Sunday, March 19. The clash is set to kick off at 4:30pm as part of Sky Sports' coverage.

However, should the Blues progress to the FA Cup sixth round, this fixture will be rearranged for a later date. City will have a greater understanding of how their FA Cup hopes look after the coming weekend.

The Blues host Arsenal in the fourth round of the cup competition on Friday night. Should the game end in a draw, City will face an away trip to the Emirates Stadium at the beginning of February.

City's current March schedule

  • Newcastle United (H) - Saturday, March 4, 12:30pm
  • Crystal Palace (A) - Saturday, March 11, 5:30pm
  • RB Leipzig (H) - Tuesday, March 14, 8pm
  • West Ham United (H) - Sunday, March 19, 4:30pm
