Leeds Festival has confirmed three headline bookings for next year’s event.
We’ve only just waved goodbye to Leeds Festival and sister event Reading Festival but thoughts are already turning to the August 2023 bank holiday fun. NME has spoken with Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic, boss of both events about next year’s plans.
Firstly, once again, both festivals will have two main stages with six headliners expected to perform. “We’ve booked three and a half headline acts,” Melvin said.

“Three are booked and one is pretty close to finishing. There’s the current usual back and forth about how many pounds or dollars they should get and that sort of stuff. In theory, we’ve nearly got four done but we’re not quite done with the fourth.”
The festival boss hasn’t confirmed who the acts are but has said two of the four acts have previously headlined the two events. We are expecting an initial Leeds Festival 2023 line up announcement to be made before Christmas.
Next year’s fun at Bramham Park will run between Friday, August 25 and Sunday, August 27. Tickets for Leeds Festival 2023 will be on sale from noon on Wednesday, August 31. You will be able to buy them from Ticketmaster.
