Three houses that sold for under $850,000 in Canberra's weekend auctions

Canberra home buyers were out in force at the weekend, vying for property as the auction market returned to pre-Christmas volumes.

There were 142 properties taken to auction across the capital, producing a 71.6 per cent preliminary clearance rate, CoreLogic data shows.
