Three teenage girls were struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in Linwood.
The incident happened on Bridge Street at its junction with Napier Street at around 4pm on Saturday, November 26. The three 16-year-olds were hit by a vehicle, with the driver initially stopping but then driving off from the location.
Two of the girls were rushed to hospital following the incident. The crash was not reported to the emergency services until the following day.

Enquiries carried out so far have established the vehicle is a white Volkswagen but there is no further detail on the vehicle.
Constable Kirsty MacGregor said: “We are appealing to people who may have been in the area at the time to think back and consider if they saw this incident or if they remember seeing the car. There are several shops in this area and it would have been busy with people.
"I would also ask any motorists with dash cam devices to check their footage as it could hold images which could assist the investigation. Any small piece of information could prove vital in helping us locate the driver of the car.”
