Three generations of golfers who are still playing rounds together

Three generations of women from a golfing family shared their experiences of playing the game together.

The family’s love for golf started in 1996 when grandmother, Joan Trimarco, 84, decided to take up the sport. She said: "I was the first to start in 1996 when I was 58. I thought I was old starting then, but I love every minute of it. Then the family eventually joined."

When the family were asked why they kept coming back to golf, Joan said: “I think it’s the competition. We all want to win in this family”. All three generations of the family enjoy the competitive aspects of the sport and regularly compete against each other.
