Tragedy struck Geneva Lake in southern Wisconsin on Friday when a boat capsized during a severe storm, resulting in three fatalities and the rescue of seven individuals.
The powerful weather system wreaked havoc across Walworth County, causing widespread injuries, felling trees, disrupting power lines and damaging structures, according to Tom Hausner, undersheriff for the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department.
