No injuries have been reported from the crash.
The crash site has since been cleared and the M50 is once again open to traffic.
A spokesperson for Gardai told the Irish Mirror: "A earlier collision on the M50 has been cleared and the motorway is full open to traffic.
"We have no reports or details of any injures currently, as the responding units are on active patrol."
