Thousands of pounds has been raised for a Liverpool FC fan who died after a car mounted the pavement outside a takeaway.
Rebecca Steer, 22, died shortly after she and a second pedestrian were struck by a car after it mounted the kerb outside the Grill Out takeaway in Oswestry in Shropshire at 2.50am on Sunday. The second pedestrian who was struck by the vehicle has now been released from hospital.
According to the Mail Online, Rebecca is believed to have been studying criminal justice at the University of Liverpool.

Now, thousands of pounds has been raised for the student, who was described as "the most loving, talented and kind hearted person". A JustGiving page set up on behalf of Rebecca's parents has raised £6,225 so far, which will assist the family.
In a tribute, her family described her as "the most loving, talented and kind hearted person you could ever wish to know". They said: "We are all completely devastated by the loss of our beautiful girl Rebecca. She always had a smile and a laugh that made everybody love her.
“She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. She was the best daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend anyone could ask for.
“Rest in Peace beautiful girl.“
West Mercia Police confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A further two men, aged 31 and 46 have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three remain in police custody.
A 28-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder and attempted murder remains in police custody. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information that could help is asked to report this via the West Mercia Police website quoting reference 90 of 9 October.
