Thousands of pounds have been raised for the family of a woman who was killed just two days before Christmas.
Courtney Boorne was killed on December 23 as emergency services rushed to Quarry Green Heights in Kirkby at around 4.40pm. The 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition but despite best efforts, she died.

The force announced that Liam Cain, 19, of Skipton Road, Anfield, has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court on Wednesday, December 28.
