Around 50,000 Universal Credit Claimants will get a share of £150 million from the Department for Work and Pensions following a court case.
It comes after two men who moved from other state benefits on to Universal Credit won a legal challenge after their payments dropped.
Before being switched to Universal Credit, the men, known as TP and AR, were each getting £180 extra a month in their old benefits, Birmingham Live reports.
