Thousands of Twitter users are reporting problems with the social media platform this afternoon.
Nearly 4,000 people have complained of issues on the app and website, according to the website Downdetector.
The cause of the disruption and how long it is expected to last are not yet clear.

Twitter is yet to comment on the problems being experienced by users, which were first reported at about 12.20pm.
Some users have complained of seeing a 'cannot retrieve tweets' error message when attempting to view or post tweets.
One user wrote: "What's going on with twitter. I can't update the feed. It's saying there's an error or something. It seems to be the app is down at the moment."
Another added: "I joined Twitter in 2009, and I've had more problems since Elon took over than the whole time before that. Insanity."
