Thousands of Travelodge rooms released for the festive season at under £35 a night

As the festive season approaches many like to enjoy a break. Whether it is visiting family and friends or browsing the Christmsas markets it is often something people enjoy.

But with the soaring cost of living it can be hard to find the cash for even a short break. But for those planning a trip away finding affordable accommodation is essential.

Now Travelodge has released 450,000 rooms costing under £35. This makes it £8.75 each if you take a family of four, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The rooms are available across its 581 UK hotels. And at more than 200 of these people can have an unlimited breakfast from £8.99 - and with each paying guest two children aged under 15 can eat free.

There are also other meal options. On an evening people can have a £12.75 meal deal which includes any main meal plus a side or dessert.

Children don't miss out either. Kids can eat from £6.50 a person.

With more than 500 sites across the UK there’s a Travelodge to suit whatever you have planned. With the festive season upon us it’s the perfect time to check out one of the incredible Christmas markets on offer, something which is guaranteed to put you in a Christmassy mood.

For the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, head to Birmingham for the city’s Frankfurt Christmas Market. You can expect to find a range of traditional, personalised gifts and products on its 180 stalls, covering New Street, Victoria Square and Centenary Square and get into the German spirit while feasting on schnitzels, bratwursts, glühwein and weissbier.

Or step back in time at Stratford-upon-Avon’s award-winning Victorian Christmas Market, Around 300 stalls, complete with Victorian outfit-clad tradespeople, will be selling a wide range of gifts and seasonal products, and there’ll even be a traditional old-fashioned funfair to keep the kids entertained.
