A woman who posts on TikTok as @maedyourday said she still cannot believe TSA agents once treated her like a threat when she was 10. In a story-time video, she said they stopped and searched her because they thought she was creating a bomb out of her carry-on. In the video caption, she wrote that she “can’t believe they thought I was a criminal mastermind at 10 years old.”
She said the trip started the day after Christmas, when her family headed to Key Largo and Key West for New Year’s Eve. She described being disappointed at first because she thought she would have to leave her new toys at home.
