And, of course, there's the question of whether Odysseus's biceps on the poster actually belong to Matt Damon.
Reader, they do not. They actually belong to a 4ft 6in, 35-year-old Canadian actress called Devyn Dalton. "My double was a woman, a female stunt performer who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen,” Damon recently shared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. That stunt performer is Dalton, whose 4ft 6in height and ripped biceps made her the perfect stand-in during a scene in which Odysseus and his men are confronted by giants.

Since Damon's comments went viral, Dalton has been enjoying huge global attention. “Apparently my biceps have their own fanclub right now, which definitely wasn’t on my 2026 prediction,” she told The Guardian.
The revelation is shining a light on Nolan's decision to eschew over-reliance on CGI (and, yes, AI) in favour of more traditional filmmaking methods. Much like the subway scene from the new Spider-Man film, it's a win for practical effects.
