Thor star Chris Hemsworth will be reading a bedtime story on CBeebies about a little bear who is frightened of rain and thunder.
The actor, whose latest movie Thor: Love And Thunder is in UK cinemas, will read Stormy Night by Salina Yoon on the BBC children's channel on Friday, July 8, at 6.50pm.
He said: “I love nothing more than reading bedtime stories to my children and it was a joy to get to read Stormy Night, a story about a little bear who is scared of storms. Even though I know a thing or two about thunder and lightning, I always feel better when the storm passes.”

Chris’ appearance on the nightly slot was teased by @CBeebiesHQ on social media with a silhouetted figure and the caption “You asked. We delivered. Can you guess who?”
Scores of parents tried to guess who the celebrity story reader would be and many were correct. The news was welcomed by fans of the Marvel hero.
On the CBeebies Facebook page, one wrote: "Thank you for FINALLY doing this. There once was a god of thunder. We all wanted him to put us to bed. CBeebies made us wait 4 years instead. But never fear, he’s finally here and CBeebies can stop getting it in the ear. For (new) Asgard."
A comment said: "Pretty sure everyone’s kids need an early night that day." Another asked: "Is it acceptable to watch it by myself?"
Chris Hemsworth joins a long list of famous faces who have previously read CBeebies Bedtime Stories including Rowan Atkinson, the Duchess of Cambridge, Harry Styles, Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston, Ellie Goulding, Dave Grohl, Steve Carell and Rose Ayling-Ellis who signed her story in British Sign Language. CBeebies Bedtime Story is on daily at 6.50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
