Thor Bjornsson has demanded that heavyweight champion Tyson Fury sends over a contract for their planned November duel.
Fury defeated Dillian Whyte back in April in his huge title defence and vowed that the fight would be his last in the sport as he enters retirement. Despite insisting he would not entertain fights against the winner of Anthony Joshua's rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, the 'Gypsy King' said he would be open to exhibition bouts, including one with UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
Another name that has been discussed is strongman fighter Bjornsson, who recently defeated Eddie Hall in his first appearance in the ring. Fury and Bjornsson have trained together in the past and have previously discussed a bout, with the British star now confirming the pair are holding talks to stage an event in November.
In response, Bjornsson claimed that the bout was initially planned to be held in September, but has requested that a contract is sent over for a new date two months later. "It could possibly happen in November," Bjornsson said on his YouTube channel when discussing a meeting with Fury. "There was first talk with his team that it could happen in September but that was way too close.
"I need good preparation, a good camp and some good people to spar with. My coach has been training with me full-time and I will be going to Scotland soon but basically I need the contract. So this is a big challenge to Tyson Fury and his team and I will sign it so we can have this official.
"I want to take this seriously and I have a huge amount of respect for Tyson Fury. He is one of the best if not the best heavyweight of all time and I have to go all in. If this is supposed to happen in November you guys need to make up your mind. I need to train my f***** a** off and I need to start having a proper camp.

"I will fight Tyson Fury anywhere and any time almost, but let's have it in November. You guys might think I'm crazy for accepting the fight but I am crazy and there is always of a chance of me hitting him hard and knocking him out."
Fury continues to maintain his levels of fitness and training despite confirming his retirement from the sport. Although the fight would be unlikely to contribute to professional records, a huge draw could be made from the event, with Bjornsson a high-profile figure from his time in hit TV series Game of Thrones and as a winner of World's Strongest Man.
Fury confirmed his interest in the bout previously, telling Telegraph Sport. "It would be a bit of fun. It would be great to get in there in front of, say, 70,000 fans and show him what boxing is all about, make him miss, and knock him out. We are talking to his team at the moment and it is definitely something I'm interested in."
