Chelsea are set for one of the most significant transfer windows in their recent history. Not only is it set to be the first of the post-Roman Abramovich era, but the Blues’ squad is in desperate need of a rebuild if they’re to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool.
It's been well documented that Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are set to leave the club when their respective contracts expire in June. However, the defensive duo are not the only players that will need to be replaced/upgraded if the club are to mount a title challenge next season.
One area in particular that Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen to strengthen is his attack. The Blues have signed a plethora of forward players in recent seasons but the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner have failed to establish themselves in the Blues’ starting XI and all too often have flattered to deceive.

As such the west London outfit have been linked with a host of attacking players including Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar and Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. Both players would fit seamlessly into the Blues' line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation; sacrificing an extra man in defence in order to supplement the forward line.
With Premier League clubs able to utilise five substitutions next season it’s imperative that the Blues take advantage and have as many game changers/match winners on the bench as possible. The added competition that Neymar and Dembele would provide would also give the likes of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz competition which in turn would force them to up their game to stay in the side.
With that said, is there a place for Neymar and Dembele in Tuchel's starting XI? Here, we take a look at how Chelsea could line-up next season with the duo in the side:
