Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has already had his say on the future of Arsenal target Armando Broja.
football.london understands that the north Londoners are monitoring Broja ahead of the summer transfer window, with head coach Mikel Arteta a huge admirer.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Southampton from the Blues and has impressed under Ralph Hassenhuttl's tutelage this season, netting eight goals and providing a further two assists in all competitions - hugely impressive numbers considering he's started just 15 games for the Saints this term.
The Gunners are keen to bolster their attacking options after allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Barcelona last month whilst Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are both into the final five months of their contracts at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Chelsea manager Tuchel has previously lauded Broja, claiming that the youngster is highly rated in west London.
“He’s our player and he’s doing good, but at the same time it’s only half a season, so he needs to continue to improve and to make his statement at Southampton,” the former Borussia Dortmund manager said last month when asked about the Albanian's future.
“We have a reason why they are our players, they have quality and mentality and now they are out there on their own in different environments and clubs, and proving themselves.
“Armando’s getting better and better, he’s a very unique player with unique strengths in his game - he has speed, he’s robust and he’s a goalscorer.
“First of all now is not the moment to discuss about the summer - it’s the moment for him to stay calm and keep on improving.”
