Bayern Munich have confirmed the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as their new manager following the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann.

Reports emerged on Thursday evening of the German giants’ plan to dispense with coach Nagelsmann, 35, who cost a then-world record fee when he arrived from RB Leipzig two years ago.
