Thomas Frank has called on football authorities to “look into” mounting injury problems across the Premier League as he confirmed that Tottenham forward Richarlison appeared to have suffered a fresh hamstring injury.
Richarlison started up front for Spurs during the club’s FA Cup third-round defeat at home to Aston Villa on Saturday, but lasted just half an hour before pulling up and clutching the back of his left leg when attempting to chase down a loose ball.
