Thomas Frank hailed a resilient defensive display as Brentford stayed on the coat-tails of the top six with a goalless draw against Leeds.
The Bees stood up to an intimidating atmosphere at Elland Road and are now unbeaten in eight Premier League matches.
After losing 5-1 at Newcastle and 4-0 at Aston Villa earlier in the season, Frank was pleased with the way his players coped with one of the loudest grounds in the country.
Brentford moved up to eighth and Frank said: “We defended very well, gave very little away and showed a great mentality and attitude.
“Compared to earlier in the season when we went to Newcastle and Aston Villa, two difficult places to play and did not get the best results, we handled it very well. Against Leeds at a very difficult away ground, I liked the solidness, foundation and way we defended.
“The only big chance we have given away was for [Wilfried] Gnonto on a transition. Maybe it was just the final quality we lacked.
“Leeds play with great intensity and are difficult to play against. To be unbeaten in eight in the Premier League is very impressive. We have good consistency in the team.”
