County final season is drawing to a close with the provincial series set to light up the GAA weekend.
The Limerick football final is one of the few county finals left and sees Adare take on Newcastlewest in Kilmallock at 3pm tomorrow.
This duo have shared the last five Limerick crowns. Newcastlewest are going for three titles in four years and back to back crowns.

Adare are going for three in five years, having won their first county senior title back in 2017.
Elsewhere, the Ulster club football championship kicks in tonight with Crossmaglen hosting Monaghan’s Ballybay in the preliminary round at the Athletic Grounds.
Crossmaglen are chasing down a record 12th Ulster title, having amazingly never lost a provincial final before.
In Leinster football four quarter-final ties take place. The big one is at Parnell Park tomorrow with back-to-back Kildare champions, Naas facing Kilmacud Crokes in a repeat of last year’s decider, which the Dublin side won. Whoever wins here will be favourite to land the Leinster crown.
Portarlington, who lost out narrowly in last year’s Leinster semi-final to Kilmacud, face Carlow’s Palatine at Netwatch Cullen Park tomorrow.
Palatine saw off Wicklow side St. Patrick’s by a whopping 12 points at Cullen Park a fortnight ago, while their opponents defeated Wexford’s Castletown by four points at Wexford Park.
Meath champions Ratoath face Offaly’s Rhode at Navan in quarter-final action.
Rhode lost five finals between 2007 and 2016, four of them to Dublin clubs, while Ratoath have yet to make a major impact in Leinster, with this their third run at it.
The final tie in Leinster sees Westmeath side, the Downs host Louth’s St. Mary’s Ardee at TEG Cusack Park.
With the Leinster football semi-finals fixed for Croke Park in a fortnight’s time, the prize is a massive one for the eight sides competing this weekend.
Meanwhile, on the hurling front there is no rest for Kiruane MacDonaghs.
The Tipperary outfit defeated Kiladanagan in last Sunday’s County final replay to land a first senior title in 37 years with county star Niall O’Meara on fire at centre half-back and Cian Darcy firing two goals.
Their dubious reward is a quarter-final tie against All-Ireland champions Ballygunner at Walsh Park.
The winner of this one will face Limerick’s Na Piarsaigh in two weeks’ time.
