After a hectic few weeks, the Championship season takes something of a breather this weekend.
However, there are still a number of crucial fixtures for Ulster sides including Sunday’s Ulster Ladies Senior Football Championship decider between Armagh and Donegal.
Ronan Murphy’s side were incredibly impressive when they put Monaghan to the sword in their provincial semi-final at Clones last month, winning 5-21 to 0-5.

Donegal were pushed harder at the same venue a week later, running out 3-19 to 1-11 winners over Cavan and Maxi Curran’s side will need to improve to deny the Orchard County a hat-trick of provincial titles.
With this year’s Ulster Minor Football Championship Final preceding the senior decider between Derry and Donegal in Clones next Sunday, there is an added incentive for the four teams remaining in the competition.
The Oak Leafers will be hoping to have two teams lining out at St Tiernach’s Park as their U17s take on Cavan on Saturday evening at the Athletic Grounds while Derry’s Celtic Park hosts the meeting of Donegal and Tyrone at 7pm on Saturday.
The Red Hands celebrated an All-Ireland victory last weekend when their U20 footballers defeated Kildare and their senior hurlers will hope to clinch a national title when they face Roscommon in Saturday’s Nickey Rackard Cup final in Croke Park at 3pm.
That game, along with the Lory Meagher Cup final (1pm), and the Christy Ring Cup decider (5pm) will be streamed live on TG4 Sport.
Down’s hurlers, meanwhile, host Meath in a vital Joe McDonagh Cup clash which effectively doubles as a relegation play-off while Antrim are already assured of their place in the final ahead of their home tie against Kerry.
Sky Sports Arena will be showing Saturday night’s Leinster SHC game between Kilkenny and Wexford at Nowlan Park while both the Munster SHC games on Sunday will be shown live on RTÉ One and Two.
This weekend will also see the first games in the inaugural Tailteann Cup take place with Wicklow hosting Waterford on Saturday while Wexford and Offaly renew rivalries on Sunday.
