NEW DELHI: Parthiv Patel's assessment of Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Sam Curran's performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 suggests that it was a season that Englishman would likely want to put behind him.

Throughout the season, Curran's performance with the bat was below par, scoring 270 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 123.29. His inability to make significant contributions with the bat might have been a contributing factor to PBKS's mixed fortunes in the tournament.
