This Mosaic Bird Feeder Doubles as an Enchanting Suncatcher – Its Colors Will Attract More Wildlife to Your Yard

Tufted titmouse on blossom branch.

Watching wildlife enjoy my garden just as much as I do is one of the reasons I love creating an abundant outdoor space. But, I'm getting quite bored of my plain bird feeder that, if I'm being honest, looks a little tired between use. That's why I'm obsessed with the latest bird feeding trend: whimsical bird feeders.

When it comes to feeding birds in the garden, a bird feeder is a staple. But I don't enjoy looking out of my kitchen window and seeing my rusted metal one, so I'm swapping it out for this Amazon glass mosaic bird feeder. I love its multi-colored glass which catches and disperses the sunlight beautifully, doubling as mesmerizing suncatcher and an invaluable resource for birds.

It seems those who have already purchased it have had lots of success with it. 'The colors in this feeder attract birds,' one five-star reviewer reveals. With sufficient room to feed birds, an enchanting design, and durable construction, this whimsical bird feeder is the effortless upgrade my garden has been desperate for.

Why Shoppers Love It

There's lots to consider when choosing a bird feeder, including the types of birds you want to attract and finding a bird feeder that limits infection.

This Amazon glass mosaic bird feeder is a good choice for a wide range of native US garden birds, measuring 6.5 inches in length. This caters for likes of chickadees, tufted titmice, finches, and more.

'This is beautiful and the birds love it,' one five-star reviewer writes.

'Pretty and functional, the birds are coming to it,' another shares.

With a spherical shape, this Amazon glass mosaic bird feeder is designed to hold around one cup of bird seed at a time, though you can also put the likes of pasta in this bird feeder as an occasional treat.

Of course, this isn't as large a capacity as other bird feeders (this tube bird feeder from Amazon holds 2lbs of seed, for example), but it is quick and easy to refill.

Other than working functionally, shoppers are also pleased with its appearance.

'It looks like fancy glass art,' one person says. 'Beautiful especially when the light hits it!' another shares.

Made from glass, the feeder catches and disperses sunlight to create a stunning garden feature, perfect for impressing guests when backyard hosting this spring and summer.

A bonus is the fact the bright colors help attract birds, especially the orange, red, and yellow hues.

Perhaps the only downside is it isn't the most affordable bird feeder on the market, costing $29.95 compared to more traditional bird feeders for less than $15 (like this one from Walmart).

But, its playful appearance no doubt makes it an elevated bird feeder. Plus, its constructed of high quality – 'Beautiful & well made,' one shopper summarizes – so for me, it's worth it as a decorative and functional piece, or as a charming gift for the bird lover in your life.

More Bird Feeding Essentials

To find where to place a bird feeder in your yard, take into account footfall, easy access, and protection from potential predators. Adding a bird bath (like this from Wayfair) nearby can provide birds with the ultimate rest stop.
