This Morning viewers call for new pairing to be made permanent

This Morning viewers have heaped praise on the latest on-screen pairing following the departure of Phillip Schofield. The ITV show has been front by a number of people since the pairing of Phil and Holly was broken up when Schifiled lost all his ITV roles after lying about an affair with a younger colleague.

In recent weeks, a number of hosts have won favour with the viewers - including Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, as well as Josie Gibson hosting alongside Holly.

There are now calls for Holly and Craig Doyle to be the permanent new hosting team as they come to the end of another week together.

Oone viewer took to Twitter to post: "I am loving Holly and Craig on This Morning together they make a great team," with a second, also backing them for a full time partnership, tweeting: "Holly and Craig get better and better as a presenting pair."

Athird commented "Can we please have Craig on all the time? Not only is he easy on the eye he’s funny but can also be serious when necessary. Plus I think he works well with Holly"
