This Morning viewers have called for Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle to host the show full-time. The presenting duo are currently sitting in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who are on their annual summer holidays. You can read more about the other presenters here.
Josie and Craig started their week of presenting on Monday, July 25 and fans have been quick to praise their chemistry. Writing on social media, one person said: "I love Josie and Craig presenting! We need them to become permanent. They are so natural."
Since 2019, Josie has been a presenter on This Morning and first replaced Holly Willoughby on the main sofa in 2021, where she proved popular amongst viewers. It was around this time that Irish presenter, Craig, first appeared on the show and hosted alongside Alison Hammond.

Josie and Craig's "natural" appeal has been a hit with viewers. Elsewhere, someone commented: "Please please make Josie and Craig regulars they are amazing together."
In a similar vein, someone requested that ITV keep Josie and Craig as main presenters. They said: "Craig and Josie really should be the main presenters. They have chemistry, they aren't smug, they don't squeak when they talk and they don't call everyone babe. It's time ITV listened to the viewers. Keep these two on."
Another person wrote: "Josie and Craig. Maybe I'll give #ThisMorning a gander today." Someone else stressed: "They seriously need to replace Phil and Holly with Craig and Josie. So much calmer and refreshing to watch, without the phoniness."
On the show that aired on Monday, July 25, Josie referenced the fact she and Craig are most regularly seen doing competitions at the start of the show, saying: “We’re usually in charge of giving the money away,” she said. “We’ve been given the driver’s seat, we just need to hope we don’t crash the car.”
