This Morning's Twitter account has remained silent since the news of Philip Schofield's affair with a younger colleague. After the bombshell revelation was made public on May 27, the ITV daytime show's social media page has not posted any content.
The last time the account was active was on May 26, when when the programme shared clips of Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary's interview on the This Morning sofa with supermodel Elle Macpherson. It was the same for the show's TikTok and Instagram account, until Wednesday (May 31), when a video of an interview was uploaded on both platforms for the first time since last week.
This Morning's Twitter account and other social media sites usually share content with followers on a daily basis - normally posting updates and highlights from the show. However, all accounts kept quiet for several days after Philip confessed to the scandal.

Many viewers and fans of the ITV programme have headed online to discuss the drama, while Phil and co-host Holly Willoughby have avoided updating their accounts for a while now. The last post Holly shared on her Instagram was a selfie uploaded two weeks ago.
The mum-of-three has also removed any mention of This Morning from her bio. It now reads: "Broadcaster," along with mention of her lifestyle business Wylde Moon and M&S brand partnership role. Meanwhile, Phil's last post was from three weeks ago.
It comes as Phil announced he would be stepping down from his This Morning hosting duties on May 20. The news followed weeks of reports of a rift between him and Holly.
Only six days later, the 61-year-old admitted to having an affair with a younger colleague - while still with his wife, Stephanie Lowe.. Rumours were investigated by ITV at the time, and Phil denied claims.
However, he has now confessed to the affair, which is is thought to have all started in January 2020. Swiftly after his affair was exposed, he was dropped by ITV, his talent agency and stripped of his Prince's Trust ambassador role.
On Wednesday (May 31), it was revealed that This Morning would be undergoing an external review, in wake of the scandal. A boss at the broadcaster has asked a barrister to carry out a full-scale review of facts after Phil left the show with 'immediate effect'.
