This Morning's TV chefs' lives from Royal relatives, financial gain, marriage and splits

This Morning's TV chefs usually get us salivating over their culinary skills but away from the cameras the likes of Phil Vickery, James Martin, Gino D’Acampo and John Torode lead juicy lives.

There's a history of royal relationships, splits, and financial gain that would add extra flavour to any dish.

As long-standing chef Phil Vickery celebrates his 60th birthday we have a look at the telly chefs lives' who are hot - and at times rather cold.

John Torode

Australia's John Torode became a household name after making it onto This Morning.

John began cooking at 16 and learned from his grandmother in Australia.

He attended catering college and began in the UK in Conran restaurants , meeting MasterChef friend and fellow judge Greg Wallace as he worked at Quaglino’s.

John made his debut on This Morning in 1996 and recalled: “If you want to do anything in life, you've got to be bold enough to start out. That’s how my TV career began.

“I was. Young chef working at Mezzo in London when a TV crew came in to do some filming. As they left, I said to the producer, ‘If you need anyone again for TV, I’m up for it!’”

“Next thing I know, I'm on This Morning.”

MasterChef was launched nine years later with Greg and led to John meeting his now wife Lisa Faulkner in 2010, although the two were married to other people at the time,

After four years of dating the two married in 2019 at Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire and Lisa told Hello! Magazine : “I love being with him. We don’t stop talking – chat, chat, chat. He’s like my best mate.”

John is father to four children - two from a 14-year-long marriage to Jessica Torode named Lulu and Jonah and two from his first marriage to Angela Torode - called Casper and Marselle.

Lisa is mum to daughter Billie, who she adopted with her ex hubbie Chris Coghill in 2006.

Phil Vickery

This Morning favourite Phil Vickery turns 60 after 26 years on the show and previously appeared on BBC One's Ready, Steady, Cook in 1996.

“Phil Victory” as he was named, won the show 200 times between 1996 and 2010.

He met his ex wife the former This Morning presenter Fern Britton there in 1999 and they had a daughter Winnie, 20, but divorced in 2020.

They stated at the time: "After more than 20 happy years together, Phil and I have decided to go our separate ways.

"We will always share a great friendship and our lovely children. We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected at this time.

"Thank you for your continued kindness."

Fern has since told Lorraine: “Unfortunately, Phil and I fell apart. And I had this book to write and get it out on the deadline.

“We separated at the beginning of the year and fortunately it’s all smooth. We just came to the end of the road, you know, which is sad.”

Gino D'Acampo

This Morning's 'Italian stallion' Gino D'Acampo has been married to Jessica Stellina Morrison for twenty years but he has known her for around thirty.

Gino and Jessica were teenagers when they first met as they worked at Sylvester Stallone's Mambo King restaurant in Marbella.

They argued at first but eventually had their first kiss in the meat fridge.

The couple wed in 2002 and have two sons Luciano, 20, and Rocco, 17, and daughter Mia who is nine.

Gino told The Independent: "I was a boy, so I decided to get married and then I will be a man."

Gino is surrounded by hundreds of women employees in his restaurants and on TV, but he says his wife trusts him and doesn't get jealous.

He told Weekend magazine in 2019: "When I met my wife I realised she was an extremely generous, clever woman.

"She doesn't get jealous. She understands that if you want to be unfaithful, you'll do it anyway. It's a matter of trust."

Gino is said to be worth £8m according to Celebrity Net Worth , after appearing on Celebrity Juice and Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

Clodagh McKenna

This Morning's Clodagh McKennam, 45, is already proving popular with ITV viewers with her crazy creations.

Irish born Clodagh is related to the royals via her aristocrat husband Harry Herbert.

Harry had originally been married for 25-years and has three children, who are now grown up, with his ex-wife.

Clodagh met Harry at a Fortnum and Mason lunch in 2017 when she was with friends and three years later Harry proposed in the woods of Highclere Park which is the house where Downton Abbey is often filmed.

The couple married last year at Harry's family home in Highclere in an intimate ceremony.

Clodagh wrote on social media: "On the 14th August I married the love of my life which was the happiest day of my life."

Harry's father Henry was the 7th Earl of Carnavon, Lord Porchester, who was nicknamed Porches - the Queen's close pal and racing manager. His character features in The Crown on Netflix.

Henry passed away after a heart attack in 2001, leaving Harry and his brother and sister the house and land.

Harry's brother is now said to live in a castle while his sister lives somewhere else on the estate and Harry and Clodagh live in Broadspear - also situated on the family grounds.
