As they team up to front This Morning this week, Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay have viewers calling for them to be given a permanent job, replacing two of their colleagues, with some fans saying they 'make the show watchable.'
As Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby continue their extended break from summer,. ITV are trialling a few different combinations of presenters. so far. Over the past few weeks, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary and Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle have had runs as main hosts of the much watched daytime show, with fans at home particular fans of the Josie and Craig pairing, with some declaring that former Holiday star Craig should be a permanent host instead of Phillip.
Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark will soon take the reins, but this week it's the turn of Vernon, who received plenty of feedback while hosting with Josie earlier this year and when he anchored the panel of Loose Men an d Rochelle, who has previously been called in to team up with Phillip.

On Tuesday's show, Vernon and Rochelle were at the helm as Vicky Pattison joined them for a candid interview about her Channel 4 documentary My Dad, Alcohol and Me, as well as being joined by a trio of Big Brother stars, including Anthony Hutton, as it was confirmed ITV are bringing the reality show back.
And it was their handling of the Vicky interview particularly that had viewers calling on bosses to make Vernon and Rochelle full time Friday hosts, in place of Alison and Dermot, who got the gig at the start of 2021, replacing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langford.
Making that call, one viewer took to Twitter to write: "Rochelle and Vernon or josie & Craig definitely need to take the Friday slot off Alison and dermot they are just awful together and can’t watch them!"
Equally impressed with Rochelle and Vernon's handling of This Morning, another fan tweeted: "can we make Rochelle and Vernon a permanent fixture," with a third posting: " @thismorning FGS get rid of all the fill in presenters including Dermott and Alison, I can actually watch the programme again with Rochelle and Vernon "
