Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise on This Morning today after a guest swore live on air.
Fitness guru James Smith appeared on the show today, where he spoke about confidence and how people could improve theirs. He chatted to hosts Phil and Holly Willoughby about how confidence was key in both fitness and general life.
As he explained how his friends would ridicule him for going into personal training, he accidentally swore. James had explained how his friends didn't think he should turn to fitness as a full time job but he defied their odds.
Speaking on the ITV show, he said: "I had a lot of friends trying to talk me out of becoming a personal trainer.
"My rugby mates, for years, were always taking the p*** out of me." At his words, the camera quickly switched to Holly and Phil. He immediately mouthed an apology for the swearing.
"I used to write blogs and articles and they'd come out and be like, 'Smithy, can we eat carbohydrates?' or we'd be having a meal after the game and they'd be like you can't eat that and three, four years into posting into social media every day, it was only when you got past that point, four years in that I got my first online client," he added.
Holly and Phil have been embroiled in their own drama as of late after they were falsely accused of jumping the queue at Westminster Hall, where people had queued for up to 24 hours to see the Queen lying in state.
As they returned to screens on Tuesday, they offered an explanation for whilst they were there - insisting they had gone for those people who couldn't make it and were reporting on it as accredited broadcasters.
"We were given official permission to access the hall, it was strictly for reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven't been able to visit Westminster in person," Holly said in a pre-recorded voice over.
She added: "The rules were, that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast, those paying respect stood on a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause. None of the broadcasters or journalists there took anyone's place in the queue and no one filed past the Queen."
However, there have still been calls for the pair to quit the show over what happened. A petition calling for them to be axed has reached well over 50,000 signatures now and is continuing to climb.
