Eamonn Holmes has taken a shot at his former This Morning colleagues Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby amid reports that the presenting duo are locked in a bitter feud. The 63-year-old GB News host, who left ITV in 2021, branded Phillip and Holly “actors”.
Discussing Sunday night's Bafta Television Awards on GB News on Monday, May 15, Eamonn said: "I think there should have been a special award for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for best actors. They may or may not be together on the telly today. The public surely will suss that there's no chemistry, that it's a broken fit between the two of them and that This Morning does not depend on who presents it.
"It's an institution, it will carry on no matter who presents it and anyone can check the viewing figures, there's no difference between whether they present it or anyone else." Do you agree with Eamonn? Let us know in the comments.

Eamonn hosted This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford between 2006-2021. Two years ago the pair were reportedly ‘dropped’ in favour of Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, who currently host the Friday edition of the show.
Phillip and Holly returned to the This Morning sofa on Monday, May 15 and viewers were quick to comment on the pair’s appearance on the show. One person claimed that they both were “trying too hard” in front of the cameras - read more about that here.
This Morning bosses are believed to be holding key meetings in the coming days to discuss Phillip’s future on the show with reports suggesting his last appearance could be in the coming weeks. This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
