Josie Gibson has revealed how she balances being a single mum with her growing role as a presenter on This Morning.
The Big Brother winner, 37, lives in Bristol with her three-year-old son Reggie, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Terry.
After learning how to co-parent with her ex, the single mum has opened up about her relationship with her son in an exclusive interview.
"My weekend starts with cuddles with my son Reggie," she tells Mirror.
"If I’ve got energy after working I’ll cook a meal, but we love going to David Lloyd for some food – it’s walking distance from our house. Then we’ll lie on the sofa, watch a film and snuggle."
But the mum-of-one admits looking after a toddler is tough and despite her long working hours - she never gets to sleep in.
"Reggie is only three so I never get a lie-in – not even on weekends," she says.
"We’re always up early but we just like to chill at the weekends. It’s Reggie time – we do whatever he wants to do, which usually includes eating out!
"We live in Bristol but we love going out in Bath and we always have a roast dinner on a Sunday. We tend to go out for it, but I do cook a very good roast dinner."
Josie rarely gets time to go out with her friends at night any more - instead she socialises with her son in tow.
"I rarely get to go on a night out," she says.
"I went to Royal Ascot last month, which was during the day, but that was the first time I’ve been out with my girls in over a year. I’ll sometimes have people over to mine but rarely. I much prefer going out during the daytime because if you go on a night out, you miss most of the next day too.
"Reggie and I are lucky because we get an extra-long weekend and spend Mondays together too. He goes to nursery from Tuesday to Thursday so I get to spend a good few days with him. We went to Glastonbury Festival last month because
I just love to show him that there’s so much out there."
Josie is one of the many presenters to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during their eight-week summer break.
Josie also shut down recent rumours of a backstage fallout between co-presenters Dermot and Alison by saying that the "two are like brother and sister!".
Speaking to New magazine, she said: "Those two are like brother and sister! I don't know what's been written but they really do get on. Dermot worships Alison and Alison loves Dermot.
"She bought him a lovely watch not long ago, and they go round to each other's houses for dinner.
"You don't buy people watches and go round to their house if you don't like them, do you?"
