Josie Gibson issued a statement as her colleague exited This Morning.
The 38-year-old is renowned for her role on ITV's flagship daytime programme and has occasionally stepped in to front the show. The Big Brother winner regularly keeps fans updated with her life away from the screen on Instagram.
She has taken to the social media platform today and issued an emotional tribute to the show's digital producer, Ella Bates, who has exited. Josie shared a snap from the day of the Coronation Street party when the programme was broadcast from the set of the Cobbles.

She said: "The day we all got caught in the rain at @coronationstreet while filming @thismorning and then the sunshine came out....when I say sunshine I mean @ella.bates beautiful face..
"Ella I am so so sad to see you leave us. You lighten up any room with your magical energy. You are Golden my friend and your going places with that special energy of yours. I know you're going to live out your dreams but we are going to miss you so very much."
This Morning stars flooded the comments to send messages of support.
Chef Juliet Sear said: "Oh I’ll really miss Ella."
Soap Queen, Sharon Marshall, added: "Ella! You’re going?? Oh no!! You’re so fab xx"
