This Morning viewers gave a firm seal of approval to what they argued was a 'much needed' shake-up on the ITV show, as Dermot O'Leary came in to host the show with Josie Gibson on Thursday.
While many people were expecting to see Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield back at the helm of This Morning this week, the programme's main hosts are still missing in action, having left for their festive break at the start of last month. Their continued absence from the studio has prompted a variety of different hosting combinations, with Josie now hosting with Craig Doyle,. a partnership that came in for a lot of praise; CBBC legend Andi and now Dermot.
Given that Josie hosted with Andi over three consecutive days from Monday through to Wednesday, there was some surprise that it was Dermot on screen with her on Thursday, but it didn't take long for viewers to back the move to put the ex Big Brother champion together with the Dermot, the host of its popular spin-off Big Brother's Little Brother.
