Holly Willoughby was hit with 'regret' over her outfit choice as risked throwing the opening moments of Tuesday's This Morning into chaos, by leaving her script over the other side of the studio.
In stark contrast to the sombre appearance of both her and co-host Phillip Schofield last week, in light of the anger against them due to the 'queue jump' accusations, Holly seemed a lot cheerier as she appeared in the studio alongside her long-serving colleague for another episode.
But, while they were in good spirits, the duo were happy to admit that things hadn't exactly gone to plan, joking that Holly had to do a 'mad dash' across the studio to get her script, right as the show was going on air.
Holly opened the show by revealing her 'regret' at the clothes she chose to wear to host the show, saying: "I've gone for it today. We're doing boots on the show, so I've got boots on, I've got tights on, I'm wearing a roll neck...I am boiling!" She added: "So don't peak too soon guys, because I have peaked! Autumn has officially arrived."
Sitting next to her , Phillip remarked: "You're very cranberry today," as she quipped: "I'm very hot!"
And it was then that Holly confessed that things could have gone very wrong from the get-go on Tuesday's show, with her explaining: "Also, I might have left my script over the other side of the studio, so I had a quick sprint about 10 seconds ago, so I'm a little bit flushed!"
Over the last week, Phillip and Holly haven't been far away from the headlines after they were spotted at Westminster Hall, having gained access without the need to queue for hours on end, like other stars, including their ITV colleague Susanna Reid, football icon David Beckham and Olympic legend Dame Kelly Holmes.
This Morning denied any wrong doing on the hosts' part, with Holly then issuing a pre-recorded statement on her and Phil's behalf, assuring viewers they would "never jump a queue."
