This Morning's Holly Willoughby leaves National Television Awards party early as Philip Schofield parties on

Normally after taking home the Best Daytime Show award at the National Television Awards for This Morning, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield party well into the early morning. In previous years, way back in 2016, they've even presented This Morning hungover and still in their clothes from the night before, to the delight of viewers.

However this year it has been reported that Holly left the party early. It is believed she left the party at around 10pm while Phillip continued to party on.

Holly and Phil were also not pictured together at the party and this comes after the duo came under fire when they were accused of "skipping" the queue to see the Queen lying in state. The Mirror has reported an onlooker said: "Holly picked up her award for Best Daytime and then left 30 minutes after. Normally she stays around for a drink with Phil and the team but she did an Irish exit."

Since winning the award both Holly and Phil have posted emotional statements on Instagram. Holly posted a selfie of her and Phil at the awards and thanked the cast and crew who "work so hard" to produce the show and the viewers for voting for the show. She said: "Thank you...holy moly...we love you...@thismorning...you are the best team, you work so hard to make the show what it is...We want to thank each and every one of you for voting..."

Phil posted a photo of Holly hugging him on stage when collecting the award and kept his thanks short and sweet. He said: "I love you @hollywilloughby and our entire @thismorning family, Thank YOU for every single vote 'cos we love you most x"
