Holly Willoughby was left in tears this morning as Julia Bradbury opened up on her breast cancer fight.
The presenter was appearing on This Morning to discuss new documentary Julia Bradbury: Breast Cancer and Me.
She was talking to hosts Holly and Phillip Schofield about what inspired her to make the hour-long programme, the Mirror reports.
At one point, Julia spoke about being reunited with her kids after having her surgery and a clip from the documentary was shown at the same time.
As the camera cut back to the studio, Holly's voice was shaky, as she admitted: "Well that got me..." and she definitely had a tear in her eye.
"No, I can't look at that without it getting me," Julia admitted as Holly replied: "Yeah I'm not surprised!"
Julia continued: "The kids have been amazing and they've made friends with my new boob and they say, 'mummy it doesn't feel the same', and I say, 'no it doesn't feel the same but I'm here and that's what it's done'."
Speaking about saying goodbye to her breast before she had her double mastectomy, Julia said: "It was a really cathartic and helpful thing for me to do and I wanted to share that with people, and other women have said, 'thank you', and not just women but men as well."
She continued: "It's a really traumatic thing, it's a very brutal procedure and you know, I considered myself to be quite fortunate because of the treatment I've had.
