Holly Willoughby admitted she was left feeling very jealous at two of her This Morning co-stars, as they appeared on screen in the opening moments of Tuesday's show.
After close to a month away from the ITV studio, despite her and presenting partner in crime Phillip Schofield being seen on screen on Christmas Day and again in the period running up to New Year, Holly was back to host live for the first time since her and Phillip's lengthy hiatus on Monday.
Sharing her excitement at being back with viewers at home, Holly opened the show by telling viewers tuning in at home: "We have missed you!"
Holly and Phillip hit the ground running on their This Morning return, with the early stages of their first live broadcast of 2023 being dominated by Prince Harry, in the aftermath of his ITV interview with Tom Bradby and the imminent release of his autobiography Spare, with extracts already leaked, thanks to its early release in Spain.
While, on the day of its release, Spare was once again a massive topic of discussion as Holly and Phillip returned to host again on Tuesday, being joined by Omid Scobie, the journalist famous for writing the Finding Freedom book about Harry and wife Meghan Markle.
But it was the guests who appeared on screen right at the start of the programme that had Holly turning green with envy. Seconds after the show went to air, Holly and Phillip cut to Kat Farmer and Helen McGinn, who appeared on screen in bath robes, clutching a glass of fizz each as they spoke to the hosts live from the Swiss Alps, with a stunning snowy backdrop behind them.
Helen told them: "We are so lucky, it's so lovely. There's so much snow. We are in the beautiful Swiss resort of Grindelwald," as Cat interjected: "This is not a green screen. This is our actual backdrop. We're going to show you everything you can do without strapping on a pair of skis".
Helen then added: "And, as you can see, from the robes and the bubbles and there is a hot tub nearby; I think you know where this is going," forcing Holly to reply: "I am so jealous right now, I can't even tell you.
Phillip commented: "I think the whole nation will be, especially those people who went skiing over Christmas and there wasn't any snow anywhere," with Holly ending: "We'll live it through you!"
As Kat and Helen returned to screen live from the hot tub, Holly remarked: "I don't know what I'm most jealous about: the wine, the cheese, the hot tub."
