Craig Doyle was met plenty of sympathy from This Morning viewers when he returned to the show on Monday, to host live from Bath, right after colleague Gok Wan was sent to the much sunnier climes of Mauritius just a few days earlier.
Craig has been a massive hit with viewers of the ITV daytime show, after he came as guest host, to front This Morning alongside Alison Hammond last year. Within minutes of him being on screen, fans were describing him as 'a breath of fresh air,' as they praised his partnership with Alison and promptly declared he should be on screen more often.
Since his debut as a main This Morning presenter, Craig has been back on the show, taking the reins alongside Alison again, as well as hosting with Rochelle Humes and Josie Gibson, with the ex Holiday presenter's double act with Josie being hailed by some viewers as 'the future of the show.'
