Andi Peters got more than he bargained for when he hosted a live link on Thursday's This Morning, with a stranger in the street telling him he looked 'way older in person.'
Andi has been a familiar face on TV for over three decades now, having first shot to fame, just like This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield on CBBC, before going onto front Saturday morning show Live and Kicking. In more recent years, as well as being a contestant on Dancing on Ice, Andi has become a regular on shows like Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Saturday Night Takeaway.
As Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby took an extended break, competition host Andi, who turned 50 in 2020, was given the opportunity to step up to be main presenter alongside Rochelle Humes for a week. But on Thursday he was back in the familiar position of on location reporter as he spoke to his co-stars live from Birmingham via video link.

Looking taken aback, Andi began: "This lady's just come up to me," as the woman in question scurried out of shot. Beckoning her over, Andi continued: "She's running away now. She said I look older in real life!"
Holly's jaw dropped at the insult, while Phillip looked like he was about to burst out laughing, before putting his hand over his mouth. Not letting it go, Andi asked the lady, who attempted to cover her face with her coat: "How much older do you think I look in a real life?"
She replied: "A lot older," as Holly replied: "No wonder she's hiding," before adding: "Andi you look fabulous." Elaborating on what the lady originally said to him, Andi explained: "She said 'well maybe on the telly you wear a lot of makeup' and I was like are you kidding? I've got loads on now!"
Backing Andi and paying him a compliment, Phillip shouted: "He's not even ageing! This is the man on telly that doesn't age!"
