Alison Hammond has received a raft of support from celebrity friends and fans alike as she shared a tragic wish on Instagram.
It comes after the This Morning presenter lost both her parents in the space of five months, in 2020. Her mum Maria died following a battle with liver and lung cancer in January of that year, and her father, who lived in Jamaica, died the following June.
On Thursday, Alison shared a photo of herself kissing a huge picture of her late mum. Captioning the Instagram post, she said: "Happy Heavenly Birthday Mum. Wish I could hold you again".
