A This Morning star is said to be "in talks" to join I'm A Celebrity later this year for the 2023 line-up.
Host Josie Gibson is said to be in "advanced talks" with the offer of a big fee to appear on the show, with the former Big Brother star apparently hoping to further her TV career.
Amid the recent drama surrounding This Morning and the departure of long-time host Phillip Schofield, the host and close friend of Holly Willoughby is tipped to join the new line-up ahead of the show returning to screens later this year, according to reports.
According to reports, Josie is in negotiations with the producers behind the show, and could be offered £100,000 to appear in the jungle.
Viewers of This Morning will have seen the presenter facing her fears and taking on all kinds of challenges during her daytime TV segments, and now she could be doing it in Oz.
“I’m A Celeb producers have begun negotiations with Josie’s team to try and lure her with a £100,000 contract. Talks are at an advanced stage," a source has claimed.
"Josie has been a fan of the series for many years and is interested and looking at the bigger picture of her TV career.
“The stint could propel her into the mainstream and land her bigger gigs," they added when speaking with The Sun.
ITV told The Mirror that any names suggested for the line-up are just speculation for the time being.
Meanwhile, Josie can be seen back on This Morning where she recently hosted alongside Holly in the wake of Phillip stepping down from the show.
Phillip left the show and ITV altogether after admitting to lying about an affair he had with a young runner who worked on the show.
He initially announced his exit after weeks of reports of a feud with Holly, before making the affair admission a short time later.
Holly addressed his exit and feeling "hurt" over being lied to in her first episode back since the scandal, with Josie by her side.
As Josie comforted her, she said: "Deep breath - firstly, are you OK? I hope so. It feels very strange sitting here without Phil and I imagine you might be feeling a lot like I have - shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions.
"You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process.
"And it's equally hard to see the toll that it's taken on their own mental health. I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal for the health and wellbeing of everyone. I hope that as we start this new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us, we can find strength in each other.
"And from my own heart, can I just say thank you for all of your kind messages and thank you for being here this morning. Myself, Josie, Dermot, Alison and Craig and every single person on this show will continue to work hard every single day to bring you the show that we love."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV1.
