Holly Willoughby serenaded Phillip Schofield in his This Morning dressing room as she handed over birthday gifts for her friend .

Holly and Phillip are This Morning 's hosts from Monday to Thursday before Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary take over on Friday. This means Phil will be able to enjoy his birthday celebrations off the air unlike Holly who had to spend her 40th at work.

The ITV presenters celebrated backstage ahead of Phil's 60th birthday tomorrow. Before today's episode of This Morning aired, Phil was prepping for the day in his dressing room.
