This Morning fans frustrated by 'terrible' sound blunder during Kate Garraway chat

This Morning fans were not happy on Thursday as they tuned into the latest episode of the ITV show.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield came on screens slightly later due to live news updates regarding Ukraine, but viewers quickly picked up on a sound blunder.

As the duo welcomed Kate Garraway onto the sofa to discuss her recent ITV documentary, there was a constant buzzing noise overtaking her voice.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "The sound is terrible #ThisMorning."

Another tweeted: "Sort the sound out can hear someone making tea ! #ThisMorning."

A third person commented: "Static sound is really buggin me please sort it out #ThisMorning."

And a fourth viewer added: "What's wrong with the sound on #ThisMorning ? Just constant hissing."

Someone else posted: "@itvstudios@thismorning pleaseeeee sort out the crackling and hissing #ThisMorning."

At one point during the interview, Kate apologised to Holly and Phil because her phone was "buzzing" - so perhaps the vibrations could have been responsible for the sound blunder.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
