This Morning fans cringe as Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary learn TikTok dance on air

This Morning viewers were left cringing as Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary learned a TikTok dance live on air.

The presenting pair hosted a segment about TikTok dances on the ITV mid-morning show today, as they tried the best to learn a viral dance from the popular mobile app, which now has over one billion users.

Fans tuning into the show were left cringing as Alison, Dermot and show regular Gyles Brandreth were joined by a dance expert to try and master a TikTok dance within a few minutes, as they danced to the popular viral track Lean Wit It (Rock Wit It).

Learning the dance, Alison, Dermot and Gyles gave it their best shot - as they tried to keep up with the simple dance, set for them by a TikTok dance expert from Reading who holds special dance classes based on the app's viral tracks.

However, viewers at home were less than impressed with the group's attempts.

"Absolutely as cringey as f***. As if we all want to sit here watching them do TikTok dances #ThisMorning," one wrote.

A second added: "Ffs wtf is this junk. Get off my screen...... #ThisMorning," as a third shared: "This segment is ridiculous but funny."

"Just tuned into #ThisMorning and it’s like a bunch of elderly people doing a TikTok.. trying to keep up with the youth of today," a fourth penned as they commented on the pair's dance.

However, some fans were also impressed with beauty expert Ateh's dance skills as well as Alison's.

"The skincare lady and Alison are doing it better than this ‘expert’, you go girls! #ThisMorning," one fan shared, as another wrote: "Well that was better then watching news #ThisMorning #TikTok #ThisGirlCANTDance."

Watching it back later, Alison admitted it was "so bad" as she hid her face over the pair's attempt.

"That's so bad, that's the worst TikTok video ever," Alison said, as Dermot held his heads in his hands.

As the clip was shown on the show, Alison revealed it had already been seen hundreds of times, as Dermot cringed and added: "500 people saw it and they're never going to unsee it!" He turned to address viewers at home, and then added: "Don't watch it!"

Alison herself is an avid user of TikTok and has over four million likes on the popular app.
