Having a world-famous global superstar from your own neck of the woods means it's often all people want to talk about, especially when you head abroad.
That was certainly the case for one Welsh fan out in Qatar supporting Wales in their first World Cup since 1958. Greg Caine was being interviewed by Qatari TV in the streets after he arrived in the country days before the World Cup kicks off.
The interviewer asks him: “How are you? I think you are from Wales?” Greg replies: “I am, yup,” before the interviewer says “Ohhhhhh, Gareth Bale!” Greg, a filmmaker who runs Greg Caine Media, then joins in during the joyous moment as everyone around him cheers.
