J.D. DURKIN: What is something everyone should do when they are set to book a trip?
BRIAN KELLY: When you're set to book a trip, I would monitor prices. Don't just book right away. Google Flights does have a feature. It'll tell you high, medium, low where the pricing of that flight stands. And even after you book a trip, you should still monitor because a lot of airlines, including Delta. So if the flight price does end up dropping monitor and get an alert. So if it's over $100 or $200, you can actually get a voucher for the difference. Southwest Airlines does this free of charge. So any time you book a flight, keep an eye on it. And if those flight prices drop, same thing for hotels. Like I said, I'm going to Tokyo. Hotel prices dropped. I'm going in February. It's not busy season. I rebooked and saved $1,000 just by I was like, let me check the hotel. And it's since gone back up. So you can be nimble with pricing. You don't have to lock yourself in unless of course, you book non-refundable. But even sometimes with non-refundable, they'll let you switch your flight and then give you a credit for the difference.
