The date when Victoria Park's popular splash pad in Cardiff will reopen for the summer has been announced. The popular part of the park has been shut since last year but now Cardiff council have confirmed the date it is finally reopening.
The£485,000-facility which opened for the first time in 2016 on the site of the former paddling pool in the Canton park, has 33 exciting features for youngsters to enjoy and is a firm favourite for families.
The council have now confirmed that the splash pad will reopen for the summer season on Thursday June 2, to tie in with the bank holiday. Historically it’s always that second bank holiday in May, but that’s been shifted back slightly for the Jubilee.
