The highly anticipated sequel to the iconic mockumentary film, This Is Spinal Tap, is currently in production, as confirmed by director Rob Reiner. Filming for the comedy follow-up has commenced in New Orleans, with Reiner announcing the start of production with a characteristic touch of humor.
The sequel, titled This Is Spinal Tap 2, will see the return of original stars Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, along with a star-studded lineup of music industry cameos, including Elton John, Paul McCartney, Questlove, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood.
